How a baby with rare disease got her mother in a Nurse
All she could think of was to be with her and she could not let that feeling away and so Nicole belonged to her!
This is indeed a life changing story of Nicole who was born with the condition named Omphalocele. The doctors confirmed on her after having tests and were worried about the special needs the child would need for long now. Because this is a condition in which the baby’s gastric organs are built outside the body and require some surgeries to put it back in but the surgeries might not have a success rate so high and the baby needs to keep surviving with this dysfunction. As Nicole was a patient to Amber at the New Mexico Hospital she had been constant care of her.
She had been attached to Nicole in the hospital and when the news broke that Nicole’s parents had lost the custody of the child and that the child now belonged to the state, Amber had the best idea she could have. She rushed to her husband for an advice and thought it would be crazy for her to do so but Amber’s husband was more than supportive and did not call her “CRAZY”. He in fact believed that being so caring and loving to a child who could be very difficult to raise was only a sign of undying love and that Nicole belonged more with Amber than with anyone else.
Nicole is now 3 years old and has had 13 surgeries and getting well at a rapid speed and is officially adopted by Amber who was once her nurse. They say God acts in his own ways, this indeed was God giving a new life to Nicole and Amber could not have done and act more worthy of herself as this one.
