True love is unconditional. Period.

We came across this viral photo and it just melted our hearts. The photo has this beautiful blonde lady and a handsome guy piggybacking her. Just, the guy has no legs. Still, they looked the happiest couple of this world, contented and loved.

This is a story of loving beyond self. Staff Sgt. Jesse Cottle lost both of his legs when he stepped on a IED while serving in Afghanistan in 2009. Being a double amputee means starting afresh. You have to learn walking again with prosthetics and have to change your career paths. It took a lot of time for Jesse to adjust to this change and finding love was not on his mind during those days. But, nature had other plans.

In came Kelly and these two fell hopelessly in love, like two giddy teenagers. Kelly is not bothered with Jesse’s condition. In fact, she is proud of his strength, sacrifice and resilience. Whereas, Jesse on the hindsight doesn’t want to ever change the IED episode from his life stating he wouldn’t have met Kelly otherwise. Such is there love.
